Feet Retreat will be held as always at Sertoma 4-H Camp in Danbury, NC
- a beautiful, in-the-woods setting with a large dance hall with a wonderfully responsive wooden floor.

Camp Sertoma - Main Lodge

Directions

For those coming from the north down 52 or I-77:

Go 52 S through Mt Airy, through Pilot Mt.
Take Exit 122 RJR-Moore Rd exit.
At the top of the ramp, go over 52 headed east.
I think this will be a left turn,
but may be a right depending on the configuration of the ramp.
Follow Moore Rd through three stop signs/traffic lights.
The next traffic light will be
NC 66.
Turn left onto NC 66 North.
About ten miles (?) north, you will go through a windy section of road.
Look for Moore Springs Rd on the right.
Turn right on Moore Springs Rd.
Camp Sertoma is a few miles on the Left.

From the West:

Take I-40 to US 52 N.
Take Exit 122 RJR-Moore Rd.
At the top of the ramp, go east, away from 52.
I think this is a left turn,
because the exit is a cloverleaf. Follow the directions above.

From the South:

Take your favorite route to Winston-Salem.
Get to the intersection of I-40 and US-52 N.

Follow the directions for From the west.

From the East:

(from the TCD website)

From Durham, the Triangle area, & points East & N.E.:

1) Take I-85 South to/past Burlington to Exit 138, NC 61 North;
2) Take NC 61 N. through Gibsonville, going approx. 13 miles to Osceola;
3) Look for NC 150 West - turn left onto it;
4) Follow NC 150 West (crossing US 29) approx. 12 miles to US 220;
5) At US 220, go North (right turn) approx. 4 miles to US 158;
6) At US 158, go West (left turn) approx. 4 miles to Stokesdale and NC 65;
7) Take NC 65 West (straight through the light) approx. 10 miles to Walnut Cove. Be sure to take the right turn that points NC 65 towards Walnut Cove. Go past the turn for US 311 South, and continue on NC 65 all the way to Walnut Cove and US 311 North;
8) At US 311, go North to NC 89;
9) At NC 89, turn left and follow it to Danbury and NC 8;
10) NC 89 will merge w. NC 8-continue on NC 8 to/through Danbury;
11) Look on left for Hanging Rock Park Rd./“To Hanging Rock State Park” signs (across from hospital, on right)-turn left onto Hanging Rock Park Rd.;
12) (Avoid going into the park!) Just before the Park entrance, turn right onto Moore’s Spring Rd.;
13) Travel approx. 3.5 miles on Moore’s Spring Rd.-Camp Sertoma (not the 4-H campsite at 2.4 miles!) will be on your right.

These directions look complicated, but believe us, it is the best route. You DO NOT want to be on I-40W/I-85S trying to get through Greensboro on Friday afternoon. If you disregard this advice, you will miss the potluck, and possibly the first half of the dance. Depending on traffic, you may even miss the last waltz. :)

From Greensboro:

Go 68 N to Stokesdale.
Turn left on US-158 W.
Go to the stoplight at the other end of town (about 1 mile or less)
Stay straight on NC-65 W. DO NOT TURN LEFT ON US-158 W.
Follow the directions above for From the East beginning with 7

From Richmond and points north east:

Go US-29 S to NC-150 W. This is about ten miles north of Greensboro.
Exit NC-150 W.
Turn right at the top of the ramp.
Follow the directions you above for From the East with 4

Thanks, safe travels to all, and we'll see you at the dance.
